Replay renews its contract with Neymar Jr.
Neymar Jr., captain of the Brazilian national team and champion with Paris Saint-Germain, has renewed a contract that has made him a Replay brand ambassador since 2015. The Brazilian champion and the leading Italian brand in the premium jeanswear industry have renewed their partnership, which will keep the player tied to the company through August 2021. Neymar Jr. will therefore continue to wear exclusively Replay jeans.
Neymar Jr., widely recognized as one of the most talented soccer players in the world, is also known for his ability to set new trends thanks to his strong social media presence, with over 100 million followers on Instagram alone.
Matteo Sinigaglia, CEO of Replay, commented: “I am very happy to renew the partnership between our brand and this world champion, whom I hold in high regard. Not only for his athletic talent, but also for his down-to-earth approach. Neymar Jr. isn’t just an outstanding champion—he’s an icon, a legend who can inspire crowds with his energy, passion, and determination in everything he does. These are the same values that have always inspired Replay. A shared vision that has allowed our partnership to flourish since 2015.”
“After those first three years, I had no doubts about continuing this partnership. I’ve always been a fan of the brand, and I’ve truly felt like part of the Replay family over the past three years. I can’t wait to wear the new Hyperflex+ jeans—since I’m the face of their new campaign, and I know they’re simply amazing,” said Neymar Jr.
In addition to celebrating its renewed partnership with Neymar Jr., Replay decided to take a new step in the evolution of its jeans and launched Hyperflex +. The new denim is the brand’s latest and most authentic line, and to promote the launch, it enlisted the soccer star and supermodel Emily Ratajkowski to star in a video showcasing the fabric’s qualities.
Starting this month (October), the new Hyperflex + will be available at Replay stores, as well as on the Italian brand's website.
