Paris Saint-Germain and Michael Jordan's Jumpman brand have teamed up to launch the new uniform the team will wear in the Champions League. In this unprecedented partnership, the club showcased players such as Neymar Jr., Mbappé, and Cavani already wearing the exclusive kits.
At an event attended by PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi, Jumpman CEO Larry Miller, and players Daniel Alves and Mbappé, it was revealed that the new uniform will make its debut in PSG’s first Champions League match, which will take place on the 18th against Liverpool in England.
This is the first time Jumpman has teamed up with a soccer club to design and launch a collection. In addition to the team uniform, other items from the new partnership’s line were also unveiled, such as hoodies, training jerseys, and T-shirts.
“It’s perfect for Paris and for the Champions League. It’s a huge responsibility to wear Michael Jordan’s name on my jersey. We hope to have an excellent season. Two champions: Paris and Jordan. I hope this partnership brings us many titles,” said Neymar Jr.
Michael Jordan wasn’t at the event, but he also shared a message: “The brand and PSG both hold prominent positions in sports and the world of fashion. The partnership is a natural fit. We’re excited to bring these two passionate communities together, placing the Jumpman on the chest of Paris Saint-Germain, while continuing to fuel the energy for sports and style globally.”
Here in Brazil, the line will be available for purchase online starting September 21. Starting October 1, the uniforms will also be available in physical stores.
