Sponsored by Red Bull, the Neymar Jr.’s Five final will take place at the Neymar Jr. Project Institute.

Published on July 3, 2017

The grand finale of the second edition of Neymar Jr.’s Five will take place on July 7 and 8 at the Neymar Jr. Project Institute.

Sponsored by Red Bull, which has maintained its partnership with Neymar Jr. since 2010, the second edition of the world’s largest amateur soccer tournament welcomes young people between the ages of 16 and 25, giving them an opportunity to showcase their talents on the field.

In knockout games with teams of five to seven players, the team that scores five goals first or has the better performance after ten minutes of play wins. Keep in mind that for every goal scored, the opposing team loses a player. For the winner, the championship title comes with the chance to meet star player Neymar Jr. in Spain and attend an FC Barcelona game at Camp Nou.

While in 2016, during its first edition, more than 65,000 players registered and teams from 47 different countries competed in the tournament, this year the numbers are even higher: registrations jumped to 104,079, and the number of participating countries rose to 53.
