Neymar Jr.'s series breaks the national viewership record on Casimiro's channel
Streamer reacted to the first episode; the full series is now available on Netflix
The premiere of the Netflix documentary series about Neymar Jr.’s life and career broke a Twitch viewership record in Brazil on Monday night (24) on streamer Casimiro’s channel. More than 540,000 people simultaneously watched the premiere of the first episode of “NEYMAR: THE PERFECT CHAOS.”
Starting this Tuesday (the 25th), the three episodes—each between 50 and 60 minutes long—are now available in their entirety on Netflix, NR Sports’ partner platform for the production of this content.
As has become tradition, the streamer Casimiro “reacted” to the first video by pausing the livestream to comment on certain parts. The screening took place following a social media campaign launched by the streamer himself. He asked Netflix to release the first episode and got the audience involved. Neymar Jr. and the fans also jumped on board, and the platform eventually gave in.
Abstract

This three-part documentary series, directed by David Charles Rodrigues, shows the personal side of the soccer star, tracing his rise to fame at Santos, his glory days at FC Barcelona, and the roller-coaster ride with the Brazilian national team and Paris Saint-Germain. The documentary also reveals the marketing machine behind the player, run by his father. Packed with stars, the series also features interviews with Beckham, Messi, Mbappé, and many other legends, who assess Neymar’s place in the history of the sport.
