Nike has released a custom Neymar Jr. soccer cleat called “Written in the Stars,” featuring Brazil’s national colors: blue, yellow, green, and white. This is Neymar Jr.’s first exclusive “signature” pair of Mercurial Vapor cleats. They feature inscriptions highlighting the Brazilian’s most important achievements in both his personal and professional life.

“I wore the Mercurial when I was a kid and grew up with it, so it’s a dream to have my story on this soccer shoe,” says Neymar Jr. “It means a lot, and it’s not just about me, but about my family and the moments I’ve shared with great teammates on the field.”

The inscriptions scattered across the soccer cleat range from the now-classic phrase “Ousadia e Alegria” to the full names and dates of birth of his son Davi Lucca and his sister Rafaella Santos; his 100th career goal, as well as several rows of five stars scattered across the upper and a special one on the sole, in reference to the five World Cups won by the Brazilian national team.
