Budweiser, a partner of NR SPORTS, launched a campaign in Santos and Rio de Janeiro following Neymar Jr.’s return to the field at the FIFA World Cup™️. The brand unloaded a special container at EcoPorto in Santos on Tuesday (6), featuring a tribute to the Brazilian star that referenced one of his social media posts. Voted the best player of the match in the 4–1 rout of South Korea, the Brazilian national team’s No. 10 had his image—along with the “Player of the Match – Budweiser” award projected yesterday onto the walls of a building near Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro.

From a kid from the slums to one of the world’s top soccer players! And on top of that, a Brazilian star in the fight for the sixth World Cup title and one of the players keeping the nation’s hopes high: that Brazil will receive a special shipment of Budweiser at the end of the FIFA World Cup™️. And since we’re talking about Neymar Jr., it was in the city where the No. 10 first made his mark on soccer—Santos—that the brand unloaded a new container, more precisely at the EcoPorto de Santos, surprising all the residents of the region.

With Brazil having secured a spot in the World Cup quarterfinals and Neymar Jr. back on the team after recovering from an injury—and even named Player of the Match—Budweiser decided to honor him once again. So, what better way than to drop off part of that shipment at Baixada Santista—the day before, a special projection in honor of the star had already been displayed on Maria Eugênia Street in Humaitá, Rio de Janeiro. Just as he has done throughout his triumphant career, the forward has overcome obstacles to achieve his main goal and secure yet another trophy! And, of course, to bring Budweiser to Brazilians.

It’s worth remembering that Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Fortaleza had already woken up to a surprise container. There are three games left, and the shipments are already arriving, so get ready for the party!
The campaign was created by the Africa agency and executed by the California agency.
