NR Sports' Work Featured at the Edinburgh Sports Conference
Neymar da Silva Santos, the owner of NR Sports and father of soccer player Neymar Jr., attended the “Edinburgh Sports Conference” in the United Kingdom on September 5. The international conference, taking place on September 5 and 6 in Scotland, brings together figures from the worlds of sports and business to discuss issues related to soccer.
Neymar da Silva Santos was accompanied by his attorneys, Marcos Motta and Gustavo Xisto. His talk preceded that of Italian coach Fabio Capello, whom he met after his presentation.

During the meeting, Neymar explained how the lessons he learned from his own playing career in the 1980s helped him guide his son's career.
The co-owner provided details on the athlete’s management structure and the need for universal regulation of “image rights,” concluding with a presentation on the Neymar Jr. Institute project, which currently benefits thousands of young people in the Jardim Glória neighborhood of Praia Grande.
“I was very happy to receive the invitation to participate in the event and build relationships with leading figures in sports and business. This interaction with people from different backgrounds is important and beneficial for what we still hope to achieve in soccer as a company, in addition to presenting, of course, details on how we manage my son’s image and career—he’s celebrating his 10th year as a professional this year,” said Neymar da Silva Santos.
