Neymar Jr. was one of the Brazilian athletes chosen by NR Sports' partner, Nike, to promote the new uniform that the Brazilian national team will wear at this year's Copa América.

In 1919, Brazil hosted the first Copa América, a year that also marked the country's first title in the competition.

In designing the uniform, Nike drew inspiration from the 100th anniversary of that victory, which also marked the beginning of a winning streak, making soccer a national symbol of pride and respect around the world.

At the time, the team known as THE BRAZILIAN TEAM, He took the field in his predominantly white uniform and introduced the world to what would come to be known as the “land of soccer.”

The new collection consists of a commemorative white uniform, casual everyday items, and a new home uniform; it combines the classic retro soccer look of that era with the modern style of contemporary sports.

Inspired by the design used in 1919, the commemorative uniform features an all-white shirt. With a classic blue polo collar, the shirt incorporates the same design elements as the main uniform, crafted with state-of-the-art technology. Vaporknit. Details on the sleeves; numbers on the back and in the center of the chest are also printed in blue.

Rounding out the uniform, the blue Vapor Match shorts feature white numbers, and the socks—also blue—come in darker shades.

The new Amarelinha, on the other hand, pays homage to the 1989 national team, a time when Brazil hosted the tournament for the fourth time and upheld its tradition of winning the championship every time it competed on home soil. The V-neck collar gives way to the classic green polo collar design, and the shirt’s sleeves feature details in the same color, reminiscent of the design used during that era.
