"Monster Bytes" is the latest release in the digital comic series for young people
Fan The Flame Concepts LLC, an independent producer of comics and graphic novels, has released the first issue of *Monster Bytes* from Neymar Jr. Comics. The series, suitable for all ages, is available for Neymar Jr. Comics’ more than 3.1 million global followers to read for free on Fan The Flame’s exclusive digital comics platform at www.NeymarJrComics.com or via its mobile app, where readers can access more than 1,500 episodes in six languages.
The new Monster Bytes series was created by best-selling author and comic book and graphic novel creator Dustin Evans. This new story begins with the protagonists, Alfie and his digital monster friends, on a mission to “level up” and gain more skills as they traverse various digital platforms in search of more knowledge and data. Their quest for power, unfortunately, awakens a dark force in the depths of the web. To avoid being permanently banished from this digital realm, the group must work together to return home and avoid detection by the human world as well.
“It’s great that the team behind Neymar Jr. Comics is creating new, creative comic books for children all over the world to enjoy,” said Neymar Jr. “This new series is really cool and shows how teamwork, friendship, and perseverance are so important in life.”
Monster Bytes is the newest title from Neymar Jr. Comics tailored to the habits and preferences of young audiences, designed for mobile devices. Short episodes of new comics are released five days a week on a free, ad-supported user interface that publishes in six languages and utilizes various reading features, including the Digitoons vertical-scrolling format. In addition, free children’s activity pages based on the series—including coloring pages, mazes, and word search puzzles—are being released alongside the new title on the Neymar Jr. Comics website.
Next Friday, September 18, at 4:00 p.m. New York time, Neymar Jr. Comics will host a live event on Facebook titled “Creating Characters with Personality.” Dustin Evans will showcase his digital artwork with an art class focused on his new series, Monster Bytes, for Neymar Jr. Comics. During the class, he’ll teach virtual participants how to draw one of the series’ main characters and share tips on how to bring characters to life on the page.
The new series features art and colors by Dustin Evans, with lettering by Jason Burns and Ferdinand Velasco. Monster Bytes is available online, exclusively at https://www.neymarjrcomics.com or through the interactive experience on the Neymar Jr. Comics app. This intuitive app for comic book fans is available for iOS on the App Store and for Android on the Google Play Store.
Like all of Neymar Jr.’s comic books, *Monster Bytes* donates a portion of its proceeds to the Neymar Jr. Project Institute, the athlete’s nonprofit social organization. The INJR aims to expand opportunities for children, adolescents, and their families living in socially vulnerable situations through education, culture, sports, and health.
Neymar Jr. Comics is also open to partnerships with entertainment companies looking to license new and original stories, as well as serving as an innovative and highly engaging platform for brand partners seeking to reach their audience in a new and engaging way.
