Neymar Jr. Comics Gets a New Series: The Hero and the Legends

Fan The Flame Concepts LLC, an independent comic book publisher and producer of “graphic novels,” in partnership with NR Sports, announced on Monday (the 18th) the premiere of Neymar Jr. Comics’ *Inked: The Hero and the Legends* (*Folk Legend*).

The second series in the Inked franchise, *Folk Legend*, was developed by New York Times bestselling author and comic book creator Jason M. Burns. The content is available free of charge to the 2.6 million followers of Neymar Jr. Comics on Fan the Flame’s enhanced comic book platform.

Inked: Folk Legend is the newest title featuring a completely new model for comics, tailored to a young audience accustomed to using mobile devices. Short episodes of various stories will be released five days a week via a free, ad-supported interface that publishes in six different languages and supports multiple reading modes, including Digitoons in portrait orientation.

Featuring artwork by Fernando Peniche, with colors and a cover by Dustin Evans, *Inked: Folk Legend* is available online at www.neymarjrcomics.com or through the dynamic and immersive experience of the Neymar Jr. Comics app. This innovative app for comic book fans is available for iOS via the App Store and for Android via the Google Play Store.

Like all Neymar Jr. Comics titles, *Inked: Folk Legend* donates a portion of its proceeds to the Neymar Jr. Project Institute, the athlete’s nonprofit organization. The INJR aims to expand opportunities for children, adolescents, and their families living in socially vulnerable situations through education, culture, sports, and health.
