NR Sports, the exclusive holder of the commercial rights to the image, name, and trademarks of athlete Neymar Jr. since 2006, clarifies:
Regarding the news reports published today (June 7) in the press concerning “Neymar Jr.’s loss of sponsorships,” we would like to clarify that no currently valid contracts have been terminated following the disclosure of the serious allegation against the athlete.
Together with several partners and sponsors, NR Sports is suspending some campaigns in light of the seriousness of the unjust accusations and, above all, the nature of the endorsed brands.
For obvious reasons, everyone is on high alert and keeping a close eye on how events unfold.
Other partners have decided not to change the direction of their campaigns, have publicly declared their support for Neymar Jr., and remain committed to their brand-building initiatives.
The legal teams for NR Sports and the athlete have formed a task force to expedite the conclusion of the police investigation and prove his innocence.
A few days after the allegations were made public, all the evidence that has come to light points to the indisputable conclusion that the athlete Neymar Jr. was the victim of “false accusation,” a crime that is currently being investigated by law enforcement authorities.
To date, Neymar Jr.’s legal team has clarified that there is no “allegation” of any crime, contrary to what has been incorrectly reported. The facts involving “allegations” were merely reported to law enforcement (the police report has already been released) and are currently under investigation.
Yesterday (June 6), Neymar Jr. testified in the investigation into the potential consequences of the publication of his video, which was produced and released—as has already been thoroughly explained— due to the global repercussions of the news, the devastating consequences of the lack of a direct public response, and, above all, as the only way to defend himself against the unjust accusations.

Regarding the news published today in the press about the “loss of athlete Neymar Jr.’s sponsorship,” we would like to clarify that there was no breach of any contract currently in force following the disclosure of the serious accusation against the athlete.
Together with some partners and sponsors, NR Sports is suspending certain campaigns in light of the seriousness of the unjust accusations and, above all, the nature of the endorsed brands.
All of the partners, for obvious reasons, are on high alert and aware of the unfolding events.

NR Sports and the athlete’s legal teams have established an ongoing joint task force to expedite the completion of police procedures and prove his innocence.
