This Friday (the 26th), Handicap International unveiled its new campaign, which highlights the talents and lessons that every child with a disability possesses and can share. The campaign is called “Teacher Kids” and is a virtual school where Neymar Jr. is the first student.
At Teacher Kids, the teachers are children with physical, sensory, or intellectual disabilities. As the virtual school’s first student, the Handicap International ambassador took classes in origami, sign language, relaxation, and dance with his young teachers.
There are 32 million children with disabilities worldwide who do not have access to school. Since 2004, Handicap International has been campaigning to ensure that all children, regardless of their disability, have access to school and education.
This time, with the help of Neymar Jr., Handicap International is calling on all children with disabilities to help build a community of teachers through short videos designed to share knowledge.
