Beats Unveils Its New Campaign: Made Defiant
Beats by Dr. Dre unveiled its latest campaign for the 2018 World Cup, titled “Made Defiant,” on Thursday (7). For the mixtape, the brand enlisted Neymar Jr. and other top players who will compete in the World Cup in Russia.
Directed by the iconic Guy Ritchie, the new film focuses on the defiant attitude soccer players need to reach the top, ahead of a challenging year leading up to the World Cup.
Narrated by Paul Anderson, the film tells the individual stories of Andriy, a Russian boy with big dreams, in the park where it all began for some of the best players on the planet. Harry Kane, Mesut Özil, Benjamin Mendy, and Neymar Jr. star in the new ad, where they show how they’ve remained determined to represent their countries while wearing the latest headphones from Beats by Dre: The Decade Collection.
The soundtrack features Anderson Paak—another artist sponsored by Beats—with his new song “Bubblin.” The film also stars Eden Hazard, David de Gea, Fjodor Smolov, Gabriel Jesus, Raúl Jiménez, Serena Williams, Thierry Henry, and Patrice Evra.
