The Neymar Jr. Project Institute is hosting the second edition of its charity auction in São Paulo
The Neymar Jr. Project Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding opportunities for children, adolescents, and their families in socially vulnerable situations, will hold, on July 19 at the Hotel Unique—for the second consecutive year— a charity auction to support the socio-educational activities of the institution, located in Jardim Gloria, in Praia Grande, on the southern coast of São Paulo.
At this event, the hosts of the evening—Neymar Jr. and his family—will welcome approximately 700 guests, including athletes, celebrities, and business leaders. The highlight of the evening will be the 25 lots up for auction, which will be presented by five celebrity duos, including journalist Glória Maria and TV host Serginho Groisman, who have already been confirmed.
Each of the lots will offer winning bidders special experiences donated by celebrities and major brands, such as a Brazilian national team jersey and soccer ball autographed by Neymar and Pelé, a spot to play in a Neymar Jr.’s Five match on the idol’s team, and a meeting with the star during the show’s taping “Neymar Jr. Among Friends,” aired on SBT and Fox Sports, a meeting with Gisele Bündchen at the Rosa Chá fashion brand's photo shoot in New York, stays at luxury hotels in the Maldives, among other things.
“We expect to exceed the amount raised at the previous auction. The experiences offered in the lots were developed by us in collaboration with each of our partner brands. The auction is already a success; 90% of the invitations have been purchased by the Institute’s partners and sponsoring companies,” explains Vildomar Batista, General Director of the Neymar Jr. Institute Auction. In the 2017 edition, R$ 2.5 million was raised.
