“Neymar” was the most-searched personality on Google Brazil in recent days during the release of the documentary ‘Neymar: The Perfect Chaos,’ produced by Netflix. The premiere of the first episode was streamed live by Casimiro on Monday (24).
The complete series has been officially available on Netflix since Tuesday (the 25th), ranking first among the most-watched shows in Brazil and France, for example.
According to data from Google Trends, a Google platform that tracks trends and search volume for the most popular search terms on the web, there was a 156% increase compared to last week for the name “Neymar.”
According to the tool, the top searches associated with the athlete's name were about the documentary's premiere and topics related to the player's personal life.
To get an idea of the impact of this growth, search volumes even surpassed those for the contestants on the reality show *Big Brother Brasil 22*, whose names had been announced the previous week. Topics related to *BBB* typically generate high search volumes in the country.
Note: Google has not released detailed figures by time period, but it indicates that a score of 100 on its trend chart (0–100) represents peak search interest.
