Neymar Jr. has already been named by some magazines as the highest-paid young athlete in the world. Now it was Forbes magazine’s turn to conduct a study on the 10 highest-paid athletes under the age of 26, placing the FC Barcelona star at the top of the list.

The Top 10 consists of professional athletes from basketball, golf, soccer, and American football. Only three soccer players appear on the list: Paul Pogba, James Rodríguez, and Neymar Jr., who took first place, valued at 37 million euros. The Brazilian national team’s No. 10 managed to outrank stars such as Jordan Spieth and Kyrie Irving.

Check out the list of the highest-paid young people:

  1. Neymar Jr.: €32.55 million
  2. Jordan Spieth: €30.35 million
  3. Kyrie Irving: €26.3 million
  4. Anthony Davis: 24.7 million euros
  5. Harrison Barnes: €21 million
  6. Bradley Beal: €20.5 million
  7. Andre Drummond: €19.45 million
  8. James Rodríguez: €19.25 million
  9. Paul Pogba: €18.65 million
  10. Myles Garret: €18.2 million

Interestingly, in the same week that Forbes released the list, Neymar Jr. became the first Brazilian to reach 30 million followers on Twitter. Famous for the player’s old tweets, his Twitter account surpassed Kaká (27.3 million) and singer Ivete Sangalo (15.8 million).

In the global rankings, the athlete is still way down the list, in 41st place. Singer Katy Perry leads as the first person to reach 100 million followers, and Justin Bieber follows in second place, with 97 million.
