Neymar Jr. has a historic collection with more than 2,000 items; watch the video

The player visited the site that is being set up to display items from his life and career

While on vacation in Brazil, Neymar Jr. took advantage of Thursday (the 15th) to learn more about the setup of his personal collection. The two-story space is located in Santos, on the coast of São Paulo, and houses more than 2,000 historical items belonging to the star player.

The items selected by the team at NR Sports—the company responsible for the exclusive management of Neymar Jr.’s career and public image—depict moments from the athlete’s life, in addition, of course, to his more than 12 years as a professional soccer player.

“I’m really happy. I loved it, because it was a surprise… It tells my whole story. I’m so proud,” said Neymar Jr. And when asked about the possibility of adding more trophies to his collection, the star player replied, “Of course.”

The display cases hold uniforms, photos, ID cards, soccer cleats, gifts from fans, plaques, trophies, and medals earned since “Juninho” first started out in futsal, through his time with Santos FC, Barcelona, the Brazilian national team, and Paris Saint-Germain.

Partners

There is also an area dedicated to the partners who have contributed to Neymar Jr.’s rise to global prominence beyond soccer. Clothing and accessories he has worn during photo shoots and commercial campaigns will also be on display, as well as items related to the Neymar Jr. Institute social project.

Initially, the space will not be open to the public, but will be reserved as the personal COLLECTION of the player and his family.
