On November 27, at 9:00 p.m., Ibirapuera Park in São Paulo will host the 2nd “Feliz Natal Brasil – Believe” Concert to benefit the Neymar Jr. Project Institute. Leading Brazilian singers will perform a variety of Christmas songs that define the holiday season. Featuring a format never before seen in Latin America, the special will be recorded on the 27th but will air on SBT on December 25.
Tickets for the concert are available on the Ingresso Rápido website at www.ingressorapido.com.br
Featuring the best of classical music and a 250-voice choir, renowned artists will perform the most beautiful Christmas songs, including: Alexandre Pires, Agnaldo Rayol, Aline Barros, Caio Duran, Carmen Monarcha, César Menotti and Fabiano, Chitãozinho and Xororó, Israel Novaes, Iza, Ludmilla, Joelma, Matheus and Kauan, Solange Almeida, Wanessa, and Xand Avião.
The event is part of the annual calendar of the Neymar Jr. Project Institute. A nonprofit civil association located in Jardim Glória, in Praia Grande, São Paulo, which serves thousands of children, adolescents, and their families, impacting the lives of 10,000 people living around the educational and sports complex.
“My family and I were very happy with the success of the first edition. It was truly incredible to see all those people united for a single cause. I hope this second edition will be an even greater success and that we can continue to help the families and children served by the Institute,” says athlete Neymar Jr., who, along with his family, is the founder of the project.
“Feliz Natal Brasil – Believe” will be conducted by conductor, composer, and arranger Cláudio Cruz—a renowned musician and artist who has led major orchestras around the world, in countries such as Japan, France, and England, and has been nominated for a Grammy, the world’s most prestigious music award. He will lead more than 100 musicians from the São Paulo State Youth Orchestra (Maestro Tom Jobim São Paulo State School of Music), in brand-new and exclusive arrangements, and will also conduct the 250-voice choir, which will perform alongside major stars of popular music.
The show is directed by journalist, screenwriter, and artistic director of theater and television Vildomar Batista, who is responsible for producing and directing the Neymar Jr. Project Institute’s Charity Auction. “The project was conceived with great care and, above all, with respect for the children, teenagers, and families assisted by the INJR,” says Vildomar.
